This policy explains how Valampuri Kitesurfing (the kite centre of Valampuri Resort in Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka) handles information you share with us through this website. We keep it short because, by design, this site collects very little.

The enquiry form does not send data to us automatically

This is the most important thing to understand. When you fill in the enquiry or availability form on this site and submit it, the form simply opens WhatsApp (or your email app) with your details pre-filled as a message. Nothing is transmitted or stored until you choose to press send in WhatsApp or your email app. The website itself does not run a server that receives or saves form submissions.

Information we receive when you contact us

Once you send us a message (by WhatsApp, email, the form, or a phone call) we receive the information you choose to share. Typically this includes:

• Your name and the contact details you use (WhatsApp number or email address)
• Your travel dates, group size and kitesurfing experience level
• What you are interested in (lessons, a package, rental or a trip) and anything else you tell us

We use this only to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, and manage your booking if you go ahead. We do not sell it, and we do not send marketing messages you did not ask for.

Payments

We do not collect payment card details through this website. Any payment is arranged directly with you when you book, and handled through the payment method we agree at that time.

Cookies and third-party services

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. A few third-party services are involved in delivering the site normally:

• Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers may receive your device's IP address when a page loads.
• Our hosting provider processes standard server request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to serve pages and keep the site secure and reliable.
• WhatsApp (Meta) handles any conversation you start with us there, under Meta's own privacy terms.

Keeping your information

We keep enquiry and booking messages only as long as needed to help you and to keep normal business records, then remove them. Conversations held in WhatsApp or email remain in those accounts under their own providers' terms.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just message us using the contact details above and we will help.
